Alexandra Popkova named a 2026 Mentor Award winner

I was named a winner of the 2026 Femme Palette Mentor Awards in the Community Contributors category, recognizing mentors who contribute beyond their individual mentoring relationships through professional content, resources, and active engagement with the wider community.

Femme Palette selected 64 mentors, alongside 8 mentors nominated by mentees, across six award categories from its global community of more than 1,000 mentors. The Community Contributors category specifically recognizes mentors who go beyond their mentoring work by contributing to Femme Palette’s blog, professional resources, and community.

My work with Femme Palette has included mentoring professionals through career and leadership development, as well as contributing articles and insights on cross-cultural communication, international careers, professional visibility, leadership, and career development. A particularly important part of this work has been supporting women in leadership and professional growth, including navigating visibility, career transitions, confidence, and the cultural and organizational dynamics that can shape how women progress and lead.

This recognition is particularly meaningful to me because mentoring is an important part of my broader work alongside executive coaching, leadership development, cross-cultural leadership, and Organizational Development. Across these different areas, a common thread is helping people understand where they are, recognize the strengths and experience they already bring, and navigate what comes next more intentionally.
